New York architect Arthur Bates Jennings participated in at least two architectural competitions in the Pittsburgh area. He established an office in New York City in 1900 and remained in New York city directories through 1918. His son, Arthur Bates Jennings, Jr., matriculated in the Class of 1911's architecture program at the University of Pennsylvania.
