Born: 2/4/1893, Died: 3/1/1937

Son of Dr. Edward Oram Shakespeare, Edward O. Shakespeare, Jr., graduated with a BArch from Cornell University in 1916 and followed that with graduate courses in architecture at the University of Pennsylvania (1916-17 and 1918-19). In Philadelphia he worked for Zantzinger, Borie & Medary. According to his Evening Bulletin obituary he specialized in the design of hospitals and other institutions.
