The short-lived partnership of John E. Carver and John G. Hall maintained offices as Carver & Hall in both Philadelphia (at 51 North 6th Street) and New York (31 Wall Street). Hall's residence in Philadelphia appears to have been brief; he really spends more time in Baltimore, but Carver will remain in Philadelphia, establishing a flourishing practice, with something of a specialty in church architecture.
