Born: 2/12/1890, Died: 1960 Bethlehem architect, Curtis M. Lovelace was born in Stanton, Michigan, and received his architectural education at the Rhode Island School of Design and the University of Pennsylvania, where he gained a Certificate in Profiency in Architecture in 1914. After working for Robert Monahan in Rhode Island, he moved to Pennsylvania, where he became an architect with O. E. Mertz, then worked for the Bethlehem Shipbuilding Co. (1917-1918), and then independently. In 1929 he organized Lovelace & Spillman.
