A partnership of F. Russell Stuckert and the Scranton-based Maurice Sloan, Stuckert & Sloan continued the business of Stuckert's father J. Franklin Stuckert, with its concentration on restaurant design, especially for the Horn & Hardart company. Sloan & Stuckert expanded this business to include the dairy installations like the Dolfinger Dairy at 16th and Tasker streets (1910) and Scott Dairies at 45th and Parrish streets (1914). In 1915 Stuckert changed the name of the office to Stuckert & Co..
