Surprisingly little is known regarding Albert Douglas Hill, a partner in the successful firm of Hodgens & Hill, along with Harvey C. Hodgens. Extant sketches drawn by Hill and contained in the Hodgens & Hill scrapbook at The Athenaeum of Philadelphia indicate that Hill traveled in England in 1905
