Residential and Catholic church architect Thomas C. Kennedy emigrated to the United States in 1880 after apprenticeships served in London and Dublin. By 1880 he can be found in a partnership with Baltimorean Thomas Dixon, Dixon & Kennedy. This arrangement, however, appears to have lasted only one year, and after 1881 Kennedy establsihed his own office on Lexington Street in Baltimore, where he remained until 1895.
Kennedy became a member of the Baltimore Chapter of the AIA in 1899.
