Norman Robertson Randle was born in Baltimore, MD. He graduated from the Maryland Institute and studied for two years at the Martinet School of Painting. His professional resume reads as an impressive list of companies and firms including E.I. DuPont in Wilmington, DE, Ralph Bencker of Philadelphia, PA, the Supervising Architect's Office in Washington, DC, and Owens & Sisco of Baltimore, MD.
Randle taught architecture at the Maryland Institute from 1926 to 1928. He joined the Baltimore Chapter AIA in 1950.
