Collection Description

Architectural drawings from the office of landscape architect F. Furman Betts, [ca. 1922-1938] 112 items. Some of these have Betts identification, others are attributed. Known projects are for sites in New Jersey and in the Philadelphia area of Pennsylvania. Many miscellaneous study sketches remain unprocessed. Drawings included here for 1922, 1923/24, and 1927 identify Betts as a Philadelphia landscape architect. Ownership history: Gift of Richard F. Betts, Dec. 1980.
