Collection Description

Contains architectural drawings, 1898-1932 (900 items) including floorplans, elevations, sections and details for dwellings, estates, and other buildings located in and around Philadelphia, PA, New Jersey, New York, Washington, D. C., and Rhode Island. Also included are drawings for Duke University. Drawings are in blueprint, pen and ink on linen, and pencil on paper. There are also, renderings, photographs, small scale floor plans, sheets that appear to have been a portfolio of Trumbauer projects, and ephemera. The collection is housed in 3 sizes: large size consists primarily of drawings; medium consists primarily of rendered drawings (original and reproduced); small includes mostly photographs and other views.
