The papers, 1900-1975 (9 lin. ft.), are arranged alphabetically by client and include pencil sketches, specifications, correspondence and bills, and other material. The PAB entries indicate builder/contrators and manuscript material for major projects only, although both are indicated with most projects. Christ Church Hospital files include, in addition to alteration plans, 1951-1963, and construction of infirmary, 1961, Roberts' files as Buildings and Grounds Committee member, 1957-69, which include information on building projects and improvements. In addition to the entries for Henry P. McIlhenny, there is correspondence (no drawings) on alterations to 1912-1916 Rittenhouse Sq. Roberts was Chairman of the Octavia Hill Construction Committee, and, in addition to the drawings recorded here, information on improvements to other Octavia Hill properties may be found in his papers.
