Title, creator and date taken from Historic structure report on the Seed House, Bartram's Garden ... , 1980, also part of the Dickey architectural archives, for which these drawings were prepared. The drawings are unlabeled, but correspond to illustrations no. 4, 5, and 6 of the report, which are more fully annotated and described. Reed Engle of John M. Dickey's architectural office, probably prepared the drawings as part of the report preparation process, in fulfillment of the contract for the firm won by Dickey, as documented by archival file correspondence. Set includes: [1] East elevation [2] West elevation [3] plan. The John Bartram House Complex represents the primary architectural structures which have been preserved by the John Bartram Association as part of the some forty-four acres of Bartram's Garden. Bartram's Garden was the farm and home of Quaker farmer John Bartram, 1699-1977, America's first native born botanist.
