Drawing A1 is the title sheet, including a location map to Bartram's Garden within Philadelphia, and an index to the drawings of the set. Sheets are numbered A1-A12, HVAC1-2, E1-2, and P1. Title block, bottom right, includes approval signatures for the Managing Director, the Fairmount Park Director, and the Park Engineer, T. Kline, or his agent, Dennis Fedleher. All drawings include two seals, as follows: [1] Registered architect, Pennsylvania, H. Mather Lippencott, Jr., no. Ex. 2705. [2] Registered architect, Pennsylvania, John M. Dickey, no. Ex. 1573. HVAC drawings also include the seal: Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Registered Professional Engineer, Donald L. Riley, no. 12268-E. The John Bartram House Complex represents the primary architectural structures which have been preserved as part of the some forty-four acres of Bartram's Garden. Bartram's Garden was the farm and home of Quaker farmer John Bartram, 1699-1777, America's first native born botanist.
