Next door on Chestnut is "Fern"-importers-tailors, a dress shop, and at 1226 Chestnut "J. & T. Cousins, fine boots and shoes". A hotel is located to the right of the Drexel on 13th St. Occupying the building are "1232 - Wiedersheim & Fairbanks, attorneys & solicitors" "J.T. Jackson Company, real estate broker" and "Dr. J.A. Bolard, Dentist"
