  • Activities of the day in real estate. Philadelphia Inquirer (13 Sep 1935): 15. "1632 Walnut St., new store building, competed recently, has been leased by Herman P. Diener, Inc., for the Estate of Rodman Wanamaker to Lewis Gowns, Inc. for a long term of years. The new structure is built of steel and brick and the front is constructed of limestone trimmed with Swedish black marble. It occupies a lot 25 by 87 feet. The property was recently foreclosed by the Rodman Wanamaker estate on a first mortgage of $125,000."
