Comments
- Due to growing demand at the Model School, this school building was made specifically for the school at Sergeant Street in 1853. In 1854, the Model School moved to the new building at Sergeant Street and the school changed the name to the Girls' Normal School. Again due to growing demand, the Girls' Normal School moved from Sergeant Street to a larger building made specifically for the school at 17th & Spring Garden Streets in November 1876 and called the school the Girls' High School.
